Just because you know nothing doesn't mean you do
I have sometimes wondered about voice. Or story. Or something. The something that means my voice is worth hearing. The story that warrants treating my blather as of value. It cannot be simply that it comes from me. And it can be improved in classification by working on skill of delivery. But it's not purely about skill. And excellence will not hide everything. They say to write what you know - but what do you write if you know nothing? Or if you think what little you DO know isn't coherent. Recently I came across a minor point of clarity here. It is not about the objective evidence that my perspective is sufficiently WHATEVER to be enough. Rather, it's about the unique, subjective take. The rest is filtered through the bias and perception of the reader/viewer. By way of example: Everyone goes to the dentist.
